The Coca-Cola Special Olympics team wanted to create a limited edition collector’s box to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the organization. Upon learning about all of the different sports played at the Special Olympics, we wanted to make that expanse of diversity the inspiration for the design. To showcase this, we illustrated a unique character for each category. The characters then grew into a collectible pin set given out to all the athletes across the nation.
