MAC Cosmetics came to FKA wanting @maccosmeticsusa, a uniquely US take on beauty for a Gen Z audience. In opposition to global’s highly editorial look that felt out of touch with the ‘real’ aesthetic Gen Z favors, we decided to make the heros of BTS makeup the stars of our channels - MAC makeup artists. By working closely with the artists we brought their knowledge straight to Gen Z’s feeds, while racking up a 100% US audience with 6x the engagement of global. With 3M views and counting, MAC USA is just getting started.
